About me
I was born to a ranching family in the heart of the Sacramento Mountains in Southeastern New Mexico. Growing up hunting, fishing, and ranching, I developed a strong love for the outdoors and our natural resources. In my free time, I would draw, paint, take photos, and write short, usually funny, stories.
After graduating from Cloudcroft High School, I moved to Las Cruces to begin my collegiate education at New Mexico State University, where I learned how to blend my passion for art and storytelling with my love of the natural world and the resources it contains.
I graduated in December 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Communications and a minor in Journalism. I am passionate about interesting and “weird” forms of agriculture, such as aquaponics, hydroponics, and vertical farming. I also care deeply about the livelihoods and well-being of my fellow agriculturalists, the wilderness, and the world’s simple beauty.
I, and my camera, capture moments of the world that others may never have the blessing to see. I also do graphic design work to help small businesses and farmers/ranchers market themselves to a wider audience, as well as some articles for magazines and newspapers every now and then.
